A FREEDOM RIDER SPEAKS UP
When I think about what all of us did during the Civil Rights Movement, I am proud and honored to have taken a small part in something that helped change the course of this country's history. However, it's impossible to escape awareness of the increasing bigotry and overt racism that are taking place now under Trump's leadership and policies. I hope this book might inspire some young people today to stand up, as we did in the sixties, to resist this disastrous trend.
